Kinbrae's forthcoming album 'Landforms' explores the River Tay, its surrounding landscape and the impact it had on the brothers growing up. It also sees Kinbrae venture further than before into a more electronic territory. The brass and synth parts throughout the record are used to explore how light reflects and moves over water while the more percussive elements are in place to represent a train passing overhead on the Tay Rail Bridge.

"For this record we wanted to expand ourselves sonically to combine brass parts with synths, electronic textures and manipulated field recordings to create an expansive orchestral sound," Andrew tells us. "Movement of Light was one of the first songs we wrote for the record and from early on in the recording process we thought it was well suited to open the album."
